Northern Vegan Festival
Northern Vegan Festival
Saturday October 17th 2015, 10am-6pm, at 4 different venues:
- Britannia Sachas Hotel (Manchester M4 1SH)
- Methodist Church Central Hall (Manchester M1 1JQ)
- V Revolution Vegan Cafe (Manchester M4 1LF)
- The Thirsty Scholar veggie/vegan pub (Manchester M1 5NP)
After a successful event in Blackpool the Northern Vegan Festival moves back to Manchester city centre on Saturday October 17 2015 for a much bigger 4 venue version of 2013's Festival there which attracted 2500 people.
The Festival will run from 10am until 6pm at each venue with the exception of the Thirsty Scholar where it will run from noon until 3am.
The festival is fully volunteer run and all proceeds will go to the same animal charity that our Great Yorkshire Vegan Festival raises money for (IAPWA).
Please note that all venues and rooms are fully accessible to people in wheelchairs via lifts.
Once again the venue will be held at Sachas Hotel, Tib Street, Manchester, M4 1SH, where to avoid the overcrowding problem of 2013 there will be 94 rather than 100 stalls in the USA Suite on the ground floor, as well as talks and cookery demos in the Roosevelt and Jefferson rooms on the 1st floor, speed meeting and heterosexual or lesbian and gay speed dating in the Grant and Kennedy rooms on the ground floor and vegan musicians and free vegan food downstairs in the Spindles Bar.
Venue 2 is the Methodist Church Central Hall, Oldham Street, Manchester, M1 1JQ which is across the road from the back of the USA Suite in Sachas. At this venue there will be 57 stalls in the various rooms on the 1st floor.
Venue 3 is also on the same street, the V Revolution vegan cafe at 88, Oldham Street, Manchester, M4 1LF where there will be films all day. Please note that this cafe may be moving to premises very close by so please check their website and Facebook closer to the time.
Venue 4 is 15 minutes walk away, the Thirsty Scholar vegetarian/vegan pub at 50, New Wakefield Street, Manchester, M1 5NP where there will be a vegan beer and cider festival.
Please contact the organisers if you would like to exhibit at or sponsor the Northern Vegan Festival 2014, if you are interested in presenting a workshop, volunteering on the day or would like more information.
