VegfestUK produced a highly ambitious and successful first ever show at the prestigious venue of Kensington Olympia on the weekend of October 5th 6th 2013. Over 9,000 people descended upon this fun hybrid of food, education and fun, with 90% of stallholders and visitors saying they want a second show at the same venue! Highlights included talks by ultramarathoner Scott Jurek and strongman Patrik Baboumian, chef Chad Sarno, comedy from Dave Spikey, Lucy Porter and Andrew O'Neill, amongst many stellar speakers and performers.
Visitors were also spoiled to no end by the 192 stalls jam-packed with quality vegan food and free samples along with discounts, as well as the dozens of talks, cookery demos, workshops, kids activities, cinemas performances, plus the new features of a stars quiz, book signings, Meet the Experts sessions and not to mention numerous freebies given out on both days!

Also, VegfestUK are giving the Vegan Society full support at London. This fantastic organisation celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2014, and has been at the forefront of vegan outreach for many a year. The Vegan Society will host a number of talks and cookery demos at prime times at the show, as well as having an info stall on the ground floor as well as collectin donations and leafleting on entry and exit. Their widely acclaimed documentary "Making the Connection" will also be screened several times each day in the Cinema.
