Exeter’s fast-growing South West Christmas Without Cruelty Festival returns to Exeter Corn Exchange on Saturday 22 November with its winning mix of cruelty-free shopping, great food and special events.

After being praised by leading poet Benjamin Zephaniah as ‘the best event of its kind’, this year’s festival is even bigger and better, with its unrivalled (and very reasonable priced) vegetarian restaurant to add to more than 40 stalls from both national and local companies and charities. It gives shoppers a unique opportunity to buy their Christmas gifts and cards, knowing that every purchase made goes towards a good cause or ethical business.

This year, visitors will find a wide range of attractive products – all of them free from animal products. They include cruelty-free cosmetics and skin care products, handmade chocolates, cakes, calendars and local crafts, fairtrade jewellery, clothing, children’s games, wildlife photography and pottery.

There will also be the chance to meet South West’s first Green MEP, Molly Scott-Cato, who will be our special guest after her historic election victory in May.

Entrance to the event is free and the first 50 visitors will receive a free Christmas gift from Lush Cosmetics.
